About the author
A mother of two, daughter, caregiver, engineer, business operator, musician, and writer who built the book she wished her own family had started sooner.

The story behind the Living Memoir Series
My father was a good storyteller. He told the same handful of stories often enough that I stopped listening closely, the way you do when you assume a person will always be there to tell them again.
He died, and I discovered that I could remember that he told a story without being able to remember the story. I had the shape of it and none of the substance. There was no one left to ask.
That loss belongs here—with the memoir books—because it is why the series exists. It is not the company’s entire About story.
Included self-help bonus
The finished book remains exactly as she writes it: her handwriting and her voice. The free companion gives the family guided templates for organizing her answers and photographs into a separate polished volume to print, bind, and share.
The companion is one download for all three Mom cover designs. It does not carry a cover-specific ISBN.
Nothing she writes is rewritten or replaced. The original remains the family treasure.
